Updated through the year
Recent Actual Tests
Real IELTS papers we collect from recent exam seasons and refresh on a yearly and quarterly rhythm. Use them when you want practice that feels closer to what candidates are meeting now, not only classic Cambridge sets.
- Seasonal refresh so the library does not go stale
- Same four skills and CBT timing as a full exam day
- Strong diagnostic before you book a real test date
Study & professional paths
Academic mocks
Built for university and many professional registrations. Listening and Speaking match General Training; Reading uses denser passages, and Writing Task 1 is a chart, map or process report.
- Academic Reading texts and question mix
- Writing Task 1 report + Task 2 essay
- Best when your offer letter lists Academic IELTS
Migration & work paths
General Training mocks
Built for many visa and workplace English requirements. Listening and Speaking stay the same; Reading starts with shorter everyday and workplace texts, and Writing Task 1 is a letter.
- General Training Reading progression
- Letter-style Writing Task 1 + Task 2 essay
- Best when your visa or employer asks for GT
What Recent Actual Tests are
Recent Actual Tests are full IELTS mock packs assembled from real exam material we collect across the year. We organise them by season and keep adding so candidates can rehearse with fresher papers alongside longer-standing Academic and General sets.
They help when you already know the format and want a dress rehearsal that reflects current topic flavour and difficulty. Treat them as high-value practice, then confirm any score target on your university or visa page.
Free accounts can start with the latest packs in this library. After you submit, Listening and Reading are auto-scored; Writing and Speaking can take AI feedback when you have credits.
What a full mock feels like
Listening
Four parts, about 30 minutes, one play. Type answers in the CBT shell the way computer-delivered IELTS expects.
Reading
60 minutes, 40 questions. Academic or General texts depending on the pack you opened. Highlights and notes are available while you work.
Writing
60 minutes for Task 1 and Task 2. Academic packs use charts or processes; General packs use letters. Task 2 is always an essay.
Speaking
Parts 1 to 3 from our topic bank so each attempt stays fresh. Record under timed conditions, then review when you want criterion feedback.
Why mock here before test day
One sitting, four skills
Stamina and timing fail as often as knowledge. A full mock shows where you fade in the third hour.
Computer-delivered habits
Typing Writing answers, clicking Listening/Reading responses, and using the on-screen timer transfer cleanly to CBT centres.
Clear next step after the score
Auto-marked L/R plus optional AI Writing/Speaking reports tell you whether to drill a skill pack or book another full mock.
How to choose Academic, General or Recent Actual
- 1If your university or professional body lists Academic IELTS, stay in Academic mocks for Reading and Writing Task 1.
- 2If a visa or employer lists General Training, use General mocks so letter Task 1 and GT Reading are not a surprise.
- 3Use Recent Actual Tests when you want fresher seasonal papers for a diagnostic or final dress rehearsal, after you already know which module you will book.
- 4Unsure about the module? Read Academic vs General in IELTS Guides, then come back and start one timed mock.

IELTS mock tests online on DailyEnglishPro
DailyEnglishPro full mocks are computer-based practice exams for Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. You can open Academic packs for study paths, General Training packs for many migration paths, or Recent Actual Tests assembled from real papers we collect and refresh through the year.
A useful mock is not a keyword list. It is a timed sitting that shows your stamina, your weak skill, and whether your module choice matches the score line on your offer or visa checklist. After each attempt, convert Listening and Reading marks with the Score Calculator, then drill one skill under Practice before the next full test.
Start free with the latest packs in each library. When you need more volume or AI Writing and Speaking reports, unlock Basic or Pro. Between mocks, use IELTS Guides for format and strategy, and Tools for scoring and descriptors.
