You are about to start a short Speaking practice. Every question comes from a real IELTS test. After you submit, you also get an analysis of your answers.

What you are practising
Part 1 is a short interview about familiar topics. Examiners listen for fluent answers that are long enough to show language, not memorised speeches.
Each card has a play control so you can hear the question again, a record button that asks for the microphone, and a next button. Record at least three answers before you request a report.
Part 2 and Part 3 are in Speaking practice and in a full mock test. Use this sprint for a short Part 1 warm-up.
What the report looks at
- 1Fluency and coherence: whether you keep going and stay on the question.
- 2Lexical resource and grammar: range and accuracy, not a list of rare words.
- 3Pronunciation, judged from the recording you just made.
A short method
Answer in two or three sentences. Add a reason or a short example.
If you do not know a fact, say so and talk about your own experience.
Replay the question if you answered a different one. Record again before you move on.

Do you prefer mornings or evenings?
A full answer names the choice, gives one reason, and a small example from work or study. A single word is not enough.
What kind of books do you enjoy?
Name the kind, why it suits you, and how often you read. You do not need a plot summary.
Speaking sprint questions
Is this the full Speaking test?
No. It is Part 1 only, ten questions. A full interview also has a long turn and a discussion, and lasts about 11 to 14 minutes.
Does the browser store my voice on the page before I sign in?
Recordings stay in this browser until you sign in and ask for a report. The report upload happens after you log in, because it uses your account’s credits.
When does the AI analysis start?
After you record your answers and choose to continue. A window tells you the analysis is ready, then you log in or create an account. It starts when you return to this page, using your free allowance.
What if there is no question audio?
Read the question aloud and record your answer. A few questions are text only.
What should I do after the report?
Take a mock test if you want the full interview, or open a Speaking guide if fluency or vocabulary was the weak point.
