How topic vocabulary improves an IELTS answer
Environment and education prompts appear in many forms, from energy policy and consumer waste to school funding and online learning. Topic vocabulary helps you name the exact mechanism in your argument. Frequently asked questions
How many topic words should I use in one essay paragraph?+
Usually two or three precise terms are enough. The paragraph also needs clear grammar, explanation and an example, so vocabulary should support the reasoning rather than dominate it.
Can I memorise the example sentences?+
Use them as grammar models, but adapt the idea and wording to the actual question. A memorised sentence may be irrelevant or sound unnatural when the prompt changes.
Are these terms useful for Speaking too?+
