This is the Week 31 Speaking refresh (2 Aug 2026). Use it as timed drill fuel, not as a leaked paper. Cover every question once, then unlock model answers in Speaking Pro to compare structure, not to memorise scripts.

Part 1 question list

  1. Do you work or are you a student?
  2. What do you usually do in the evening?
  3. Do you prefer to spend free time alone or with others?
  4. How often do you use public transport?
  5. Have your neighbourhood shops changed recently?
  6. Do you enjoy cooking at home?
  7. What kind of weather do you like most?
  8. Do you often take photos with your phone?

Part 2 cue cards

Card 1: Describe a time you helped a stranger

  • When and where it happened
  • Who the person was
  • What you did
  • And explain how you felt afterwards

Card 2: Describe a park or public garden you like

  • Where it is
  • How often you go there
  • What people do there
  • And explain why you enjoy it

Part 3 discussion prompts

  1. Why do some people avoid talking to strangers?
  2. Should cities build more free public spaces?
  3. How has technology changed the way neighbours interact?
  4. Do you think volunteering should be part of school life?
  1. 1Day 1–2Finish all Part 1 items aloud (reason + example each).
  2. 2Day 3–5One Part 2 card per day: 1 minute notes, up to 2 minutes speaking, one rewrite.
